Today was different in that we did not make a hospital visit. Instead, hospital technicians from Coatepeque, San Marcos, Huehuetenango, and Solola joined us for a training seminar. The seminar was held at the Tulan Institute, and the topic was preventive maintenance of medical equipment. After the seminar, we went to the cemetery in Xela to see how loved ones are respected in the local culture.
After dinner, we were treated to a dance lesson with one of the Tulan staff members. The entire group participated, and it was a blast!
