Day 1

Our Guatemalan adventure began very early in the morning with a 6:00 AM flight from Hartford. After stopping in Atlanta, we made the trek south and landed in Guatemala City around noon local time. Our luggage was loaded into a waiting van, and we set off to Quetzaltenango.

Not surprisingly, our group was pretty tired from the long journey to our destination, and there were many people "resting their eyes" during the ride.

We made it to our hotel around 6:00 PM and grabbed a quick bite to eat before settling in for the night. Looking forward to meeting with our Guatemalan partners in the morning!
